Your Nineveh store, with one fee for Mosul and another for far towns
With Madar you can open an online store in Nineveh within minutes and take cash-on-delivery orders from Mosul, the rest of the governorate and the rest of Iraq. Madar lists 84 areas in Nineveh, you set a delivery fee for each, and you then give the order to the delivery company you work with.
Selling in Nineveh: Mosul, the Tigris and the towns around
The centre of Nineveh is the city of Mosul on the Tigris, which divides the city into two sides that locals call the right bank and the left bank. Around the city there are towns that lie far from it, such as Bartella, and the governorate borders Duhok, Erbil, Kirkuk, Salah al-Din and Al Anbar. One shopper may live in a Mosul neighbourhood and another in a distant town, and the two distances differ. Price the city's neighbourhoods and the places outside it separately, and review your fee whenever you start selling to a new area.
Delivery to Nineveh: how to price Mosul and what lies around it
Give Mosul's neighbourhoods one fee at the start, say IQD 8,000 as an example, then separate out what lies outside the city. Al-Zuhoor and Nabi Yunus are neighbourhoods inside Mosul, while Bartella is a town farther away and justifies a higher fee. You do not need to set every neighbourhood at once: start with the most requested and add the rest. If your goods are large or heavy, make that part of the fee. Also set a fee for the Other option so it covers any address not in the list. These figures are for illustration, not any company's price, so agree the real price with the company directly.

An example delivery fee setup for Nineveh
This is an illustrative example with numbers of our own, not any delivery company's price. We start with a general governorate fee of IQD 8,000, then adjust two areas.
For every detail of fees in Madar, read:
Delivery fees| Area | Delivery fee (example) |
|---|---|
| All areas of Nineveh | IQD 8,000 |
| 17 July (close to your warehouse) | IQD 6,000 |
| Zanjali (far from your warehouse) | IQD 10,000 |
The numbers are for illustration only. You change them in your delivery settings, and the real fee is your decision.
Questions about your store in Nineveh
Can I set a separate fee for Bartella and the Mosul neighbourhoods?
Yes, because Madar lets you set a fee for each area of Nineveh: Bartella's fee is separate from that of Al-Zuhoor, Nabi Yunus or any other Mosul neighbourhood. You can change any fee whenever you like without touching the others.
Can I find Mosul's neighbourhoods in Madar under Nineveh?
Yes. Madar shows Mosul's neighbourhoods inside the governorate of Nineveh, whose centre Mosul is. The governorate's list holds 83 named areas, plus an Other option for any address not listed, and you set a fee for each of them from the same list.
How do I prepare Nineveh orders if my warehouse is in another governorate?
Your Madar store takes Nineveh orders from wherever you sell, and you set the delivery fee by the shopper's area. Then you hand the order to a delivery company that works between your governorate and Nineveh, note its name in your list of companies, and ask whether it reaches the towns far from Mosul. Madar does not deliver orders itself. On Pro you link your account with Al-Waseet, Modon Express or Hi Express and send the order with one tap.
