All your orders in one place, each with a clear status
Order management in Madar means every order lands in one dashboard, whether it came from your store, a chat or a phone call, and moves through nine clear statuses from New to Completed. You get an instant alert for each new order, and you can edit it, print its invoice and record a return from the same screen.
What you get
An instant alert for every new order
A live notification arrives the moment a shopper confirms an order, so no order gets lost among your messages and none waits to be prepared.
Nine statuses for the whole journey
New, Preparing, Ready, Out for delivery, Completed, Delivery failed, Partially returned, Returned, Cancelled. Every order has a clear status that you and your team read at a glance.
Manual orders from chat or phone
When a customer orders on Instagram, WhatsApp or by phone, you record the order yourself. It shows up next to your store orders and goes through the same statuses.
Full order editing after it arrives
Change an order's products, quantities and details when a customer asks for a change, instead of cancelling it and creating a new one.
Returns and printable invoices
Record a full or partial return, and print the invoice in A4 or in thermal printer size to put in the parcel.
A tracking link for your shopper
Your customer gets a link to follow the order's status, so they ask you less often where their order is.
How an order moves through Madar
The order arrives
A shopper orders from your store and pays on delivery, or you record a manual order. It appears in your dashboard as New, and the alert reaches you.
You prepare it and update its status
Move it to Preparing, then Ready, print the invoice, hand it to the delivery company you work with, and change its status to Out for delivery.
You close the order
When it is handed over, mark it Completed. If the shopper did not collect it, record Delivery failed. If a product comes back, record Returned or Partially returned.
Good to know
- Madar does not deliver orders. On Pro and in the free trial you link your own account with Al-Waseet, Modon Express or Hi Express and send an order with one tap, and the order's status follows the shipment. With any other company you hand the order over and change its status yourself. You hand each order to the company you work with and update its status in your dashboard.
- New-order alerts also reach you on WhatsApp once you verify your number, on Telegram, and in the merchant app when it launches.
- Manual orders, order editing, invoices and returns are included in both plans, Basic and Pro.
Questions about order management
How many order statuses does Madar have?
Madar has nine order statuses: New, Preparing, Ready, Out for delivery, Completed, Delivery failed, Partially returned, Returned and Cancelled. You move each order through them as your work progresses, so you always know where every order stands.
Can I record an order that came in on Instagram or WhatsApp?
Yes. You record a manual order yourself from the dashboard. It appears in the orders list next to your store orders and goes through the same statuses, so chat and phone orders live in one place with the rest.
Can I print an invoice for an order?
Yes. You can print the invoice of any order in A4 size or in thermal printer size, to put in the parcel. Invoices are included in both plans, Basic and Pro.
Can my customer follow their order?
Yes. The shopper gets a tracking link that shows the order's status. They also receive WhatsApp messages when the order is confirmed, goes out for delivery, is delivered, or fails delivery. These messages are on by default and you can switch them off in your store settings.
